What about lighting with an IP44 rating?

Lights with this rating can be safely installed outdoors - this is the minimum rating for exterior lighting. Lighting with this rating are considered splash proof and are best installed in undercover areas. Think entrance ways, front doors, verandahs and balcony areas.
